My favorite costume as a child was a leopard. My mom sewed for weeks to make these suits for my sister and I. They were complete with paws, tails, and head piece with ears. I even wore the costume in the Kentucky Derby Parade to support our school who’s mascot was a leopard.

I am a HUGE fan of the movie Hairspray, so I am going to be dressed as Tracey Turnblad and my hubby as her mother Edna. My husband is a big man and should look FABULOUS in a pink sequined 60’s mini dress!LOL. My oldest will be Zac Efron’s character Linc, and the two younger ones will be dressed in 60’s attire as well. Luckily my kids love the movie too!!

My son is going to dress up as an executioner, we found his costume at the flea market 2 weeks ago (Which by the way I got at a very good price, it was supposed to be selling for $30 in a store - So I had to ask, how much is this? She says “Oh $2″) I couldnt pass that up! The costume has never been opened, it was brand new!
We also found face make up and skeleton & alien gloves at another stand also got a dracula cape (hey never know when youll need it for another Halloween!) Got all of that for $1.70. The guy selling that stuff said he just wanted to get rid of it. I was really pleased with the stuff I got and the prices I paid.

Ooops forgot to mention stuff about me…
I dont think I had a least favorite costume, since I always picked them out.
My favorite has to be when I dressed up as Michael Myers (Ya know that killer from those Halloween movies) I dressed up as him and even acted like him (slow, stiff movements and didnt talk) 2 years ago I answered the door dressed up as him, played the Halloween theme music, had a fog machine and black lights oh and a strobe light as well.
Kids were freaked out (well the little ones were) a few ran away after getting their candy and said mommy Michael Myers lives there. The older ones thought it was cool and scary. As I handed out candy I just waited for them to leave and stepped back and closed the door as I looked straight. (yeah Ive seen all the Halloween movies and I have his moves down)
I love Halloween - its my favorite “holiday”
Oh and I forgot to mention, Im a girl and dressed up as Mike. ha ha

So this Halloween I may dress up as him again or I may wear my toga and be a Greek!

One of the best costumes I had when I was a little girl was an alarm man (although it isn’t really a good costume without the other half). My dad worked for an alarm company and my sister dressed up as an alarm box with flashing lights and alarm noises. I was the alarm man with a remote and could turn my sister on at all the houses.

my son will be a pirate and I, a pirate’s mama. Growing up, costumes were always an ‘event’: planning, constructing, etc. Of the many crazy one’s i had, a few of them: giant hershey’s bar with a hershey kiss as a head, giant bag of groceries, the statue of liberty’s torch (yes, torch; my hair was the fire, teased and sprayed orange and red). I hope the kids here in San Diego get a decent halloween this year. things have been looking pretty dismal.

I haven’t decided on a Halloween costume, but saw some pretty ladybug wings that I may buy. I’m also on the lookout for a costume for my dog. Last year, I dressed my dog up as a ghost, and dressed myself up as a ghost cat. We were a ghost dog and cat.

Least favorite… hmm.. that’s a hard one but I think it’d have to be the vampire costume from the year before. The dress made me look like a moving coffin.

I don’t have kids, so I don’t have any costumes to pick out for them.

I will be, however, 34 weeks pregnant at Halloween. My husband is going to paint my belly with body paint as a Jack-o-lantern for Halloween. Not really a costume, but sort of! It will make a good picture for the baby book anyway!

Growing up, my least favorite costume was a ghost made with a white bedsheet. My favorite was an angel. I had a really pretty girly costume.

Had my face painted professionally, wore a wig and an awsome corset and skirt that my friend made. And the fangs were special too - glue-ons just for the two teeth, not the plastic set that you have to remove to talk or eat.

My least favourite - going as myself cause I didn’t know I was supposed to dress up!!

My parents always encouraged us to have very original costumes, One year, I was the tooth fairy! I wore a dress that I had from being a flower girl in a wedding, my dad made me a crown from a cool whip container, and using his jigsaw he made a wooden tooth and spray painted it gold and made a wand out of it. It was freaking sweet! He wanted me to wear a change collector too but we decided against it. Years later, I told my neighbors this story and they duplicated the costume for their daughter, HUGE HIT!

I felt like an olympic champion for a whole half hour of trick-or-treating, until I flipped into a mailbox and sliced my ankle open. The worst part was that in the rush to get to the ER, my candy bag was left in the street! So, my favorite costume was also my worst. : (

One of the best halloween costumes that I had when I was younger was when I made the entire costume myself, which was probably why it was so cool! I was a ‘hobo!’

Last year, I took the cake for the best Halloween costume (or really, most creative Halloween costume). It was easy to make, didn’t cost a lot to create, and it wasn’t a store-bought costume. I wore a plain blue shirt and pants and attached “clouds” (made from cotton balls) to them. Then I carried around a small water-spray bottle. My costume: I’m Cloudy, with a Chance of Showers! *spritz!**sprtiz!*

This Halloween I am going as a dark elf complete with ears.
My favorite costume that I wore was when I went as “the dirty old man next door” I had fake bad teeth, the bushy eyebrow and big nose glasses, a cane with a mirror, sweat pants pulled up high and a checkered shirt. To complete the outfit, I had a headpiece that made me look bald. I got a lot of compliments on it. I tried to get my husband to dress up like that but he declined the offer.

I’m grown now and not into Halloween, however I remember when I was little. Going to school with my costume. I always had the plastic costume with the plastic mask that made you sweat!! YUK! So, ALL of those were my least favorite. My most favorite has always been going as a clown. Just describes me, I guess ! ;)

My least favorite costume was when I dressed up as a bunch of grapes. It was really cute with a long dress and you pinned balloons all over it, only after you had balloons all over your body, you couldn’t sit down! Not well thought out! :-0

I remember in kindergarten, my parents didn’t know they had to get me a costume to celebrate Halloween. So I was one of the very few kids who didn’t have a costume! My mom had to run off to the store and grab whatever was on the rack and bring it back to class for me to put on. It was some horrid cheap stuff, while everyone else was all dressed so nice and pretty! How embarrassing…

As for this year, no costume for me. Though in the past I’ve dressed up as SpiderLady before. Got this wicked cool black top with silver shimmer cobwebs. Happy Halloween to all!

I remember another Halloween when I was in fifth grade, I had a huge crush on a boy, he was in sixth grade and my uncle knew his older brother and we met up with them. I was so cute in my bunny outfit, at least I thought so. He said I do not date fifth graders, I understood. The next week he dated another fifth grader. I guess not putting out in fifth grade hurt me…lol. But my bunny outfit was so cute.

HAHA.. That reminds me of how ridiculous I was in second grade… I wanted buck teeth, because some boy that I thought was cute had them…. (I guess, bunny and buck teeth made me remember that)

The buck teeth and bunny thing is a crack up. This year I have finally decided what me and my hubby will be and what our pumpkin will be. Pumpkin will be a black widow. Its got a round head and we have some cool marble to stick into its eyes and stong cardboard to paint black for eight legs. I have an old shaw from my great grandmother and I wanna be her this year and me old man will be his old German grandfather that was in WWI.

When I was growing up my favorite halloween costume was a witch costume that my mom hand made for me. She put alot of work into it and i loved it it was one of the best costumes i have ever seen. The worst costume I can remember wearing as a kid was a punk rock costume it was heavy and by the time we were done trick or treating I was so tierd I thought I wouldnt make it to my bed.
