How about having the person that posts the most wins some sort of prize??
Give it a time frame, say a week and who ever posts the most comments wins.

Or maybe write a short song or poem about Freegrabber? that would be humorous.
Who ever is the most creative wins.

How about ask everyone to share a valid coupon code to an online retailer, then choose one person randomly.
or pick a few select retailers and ask everyone to find a valid coupon for them.

How about writing a short essay (say, fifty words or less) about one of your freebie experiences, as in: “I got a lead from Free Grabber for a coupon for a free appetizer with two entrees at a new restaurant. We went, just because of the coupon, but we had a wonderful meal and will definitely go back!”

I think an internet scavenger hunt would be fun. You could give a list and the everyonr that finds it can post and you randomly pick winner or say the 15th person wins or something like that!
littlelulu said,

How about you hide some sort of picture on the website somewhere and give a hint as to where to find it. ???? You could have hints that lead to other hints before finding the object.

a simple contest like your others where we post our answers, my question would be “whats your favorite freebie and why?”

contests that have themes, like since halloween is coming up, whoever posts the best halloween costume picture or carved pumpkin picture, I don’t think we can post pictures in here but we could give a link to the picture in a photobucket or flickr. Of course, it must really be YOUR picture, not some picture stolen off of the internet.

A Good contest would be a referral contest. See who refers the most people in a given time period. The person they refer can pm (if you have that on here) or email you with their id and who referred them. You should check the ip address so you know no one is cheating.

i just love contests!okay, heres a couple of my ideas.i would love to see something done with birth dates. everyone could give their birthdate, and you could randomly pick a winner. heres another one.at the end of any contest, we could predict how many people will take part in the following contest. whom ever gets it correct, wins {kind of corny i know}.

A Photo Contest! How about having everyone post a photo with freebies they got through FreeGrabber. The person with the best photo (most freebies pictured?) wins?
Or…. how many jellybeans in a 1 liter bottle (or something similar?)

HI
I think a good idea would be to have a certain theme each month (maybe this month Halloween them, next month a fall theme, Christmas theme, new years…etc) then each week have 4 little contests (picture contest, scavenger hunt online (like some of the others were mentioning) , a seasonal poem, and a funny short story related to the theme of the month
thanks for reading this

There are a lot of great ideas here.
How about the first contest is to vote for the best one.
Whoever gets the most votes wins, along with me for thinking of this - lol.

As a random contest - there are a whole bunch of simple q’s you could ask…whats your fav food - what do you feel is the safest car - what car do you drive - you could really ask anything as it really doesn’t matter what the answer is just that they posted.
you can play the abc game for more than one post or single per person…say for instance words that end with the letter “R” so the first word could be “alter”(starting with A) and the next person would have to come up with one starting with “B” and so on. I guess they can get quite funny but i have never tried just see it in a forum all the time.
thanks!

Ok, here’s my idea. You could do a contest like a lottery. Select a number between 0 and 1000, 10,000 or whatever. The person who gets closest to your number wins a prize and if it’s hit dead on, they get extra. One entry per contest per person. Or, you could go an extra step if you wanted and only do it if someone gets it exactly right, and for each week that no one gets it, you could accumulate the prizes so if it took 3 or 4 weeks to have it guessed, they’d get 3 or 4 prizes.

Lots of good ideas here already…but here’s one more:
Family Feud survey, guess the 4 most popular answers to a question and win! For example: “Name something you sniff before buying” Answers: Perfume, Fruit, Meat, Flowers. It would be fun to see what everyone guesses! It’s a fun show for a reason!

The hippy in me would love to see five things everyone is thankful for (perhaps around Thanksgiving?) or
maybe five things that you did today to help someone else (like a pay-it-forward type).
This springs to mind because I register for all of the free samples and am putting the ones I cannot use into a pretty basket. Around Christmas, I will donate it to my local church because we adopt a family each year. This won’t cost me very much and the family will get a whole bunch of laundry detergent, lotions, and stuff like that. Just a thought.

Hi!
I love idea from jreinish… About picture with all the freebies. Who has the most - he wins.
Another idea - the funniest story. Each person can provide only one story and then you pick the best one.
Another one - the best little poem about freebies : )

Ask if people keep track of the freebies they order (such as a spreadsheet or a journal or whatever they use).

One idea: Have you ever received a freebie that was completely unusable? I got a tube of toothpaste the other day that was squished completely flat! It would be interesting to see what other experiences people have had with the postal service.
Another question could be: How do your friends react when they find out you are a freebie junkie?

For those that don’t know what to do with their samples, how about donating them to the Salvation Army or Light House Mission or Catholic Charities. These groups love getting single sizes/individual sizes for those that they have living there. It helps with their overall cost of running their houses.

I think that a good idea for a contest would be to write a comment about the most extraordinary act of kindness, unshelfishness, or love that you have ever witnessed. It could be something you have had done for you, something you have done yourself for someone else, or something you have witnessed.
